United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta – V.I.P. Board Training, Non-Profit Board Development Training
United Way V.I.P. trains people from ethnically diverse and under-represented populations for leadership roles in nonprofit agencies by leading participants through a comprehensive 10-week nonprofit service curriculum.
Started in 1992, V.I.P. now has more than 1,600 graduates. By bringing ethnically diverse individuals into leadership positions, nonprofits enhance their understanding of the diverse needs of their clients — and become better able to meet those needs.
The program is offered in the spring, summer and fall. The fall 2012 application process is now OPEN. The application deadline is Tuesday, August 21. Please include a headshot with your completed application.
